TRUE FRIENDS (An Essay)

There are times when we feel sad. Times that we feel we are being left behind by people who are, for you, are special and so important to you. But, in all the things you thought about them, have you ever ask yourself if they also feel the same way towards you?

We thought, people who, at first, tell you that they will never leave you and always be at your side are those we consider true friends. But, as time goes by, they are still leaving us and forget the friendship that you had shared with each other. For me, true friends are not just those who always say, "I promise you, I will never leave you and I will always here for you." For me, being a true friend is not based on how frequent you've been seeing each other, but it is through the times you care about each other although you're million miles away to each other. It is not really necessary for friends to always be together every second, every minute or every hour of their lives.

"Friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you know they are always there."

We can also compare our friends to the stars above the night sky. Friends are usually the "stars" of our lives especially during those "night" parts in our lives. They serve as the stars who shine and give light to our lives whenever we feel giving up because of problems/dilemmas that continuously coming into our lives.

Friends are always there to help us. They are God's angels that He sent to us to become our guardian angels who will guide us whenever our family is not around. And they must also be the ones directing us to the right path for us to be successful in our chosen fields.

Just remember, be a good friend to your peer. Because if you lose him/her, its like misplacing a ton of gold and will never be with you again.
